The historical Bell Witch Cave and former Bell Farm offers tours for those interested in researching the amazing story of the Bell Witch. According to BellWitch.org, the Bell Witch was the former neighbor of John Bell, Kate Batts. She felt cheated in a land deal she and John Bell made and when she was on her deathbed, swore that she would come back to haunt him and his descendants. Story has it that his daughter, Betsy Bell, had quite a few run-ins with the Bell Witch. | |

Three little girls died on site during construction. Legend says they were playing with a rail car used to bring supplies up the hillside when the car spun out of control, drowning the three children in the water below. Visitors report hearing a female crying, "Help me!" inside the tower, as well as mysterious lights and footsteps. | |
